About the role
You will assist with residential and commercial landscaping and construction projects, including grading, planting, installing sod, building patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
This role is physically active and perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on outdoor work in a team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with landscape and construction projects, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and grading
- Spread and level soil, mulch, gravel, and other materials
- Plant sod, shrubs, and trees
- Operate hand tools and small landscaping equipment such as wheelbarrows, tampers, and compactor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite
Qualifications
- Minimum of one season of landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation required as job sites are NOT accessible by bus or public transit
- Physically able to lift, dig, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Dependable, safety conscious, and team oriented
Compensation and benefits
- Hourly pay from 19.00 to 24.00 based on experience
