The Role As a Dispatcher, you're the link between our drivers, customers, and the road. You'll assign loads, track trucks, solve problems in real time, and keep everyone informed.
What you'll do
- Assign and dispatch loads to drivers efficiently
- Monitor trucks and deliveries in real time; adjust when things change
- Communicate with drivers and customers professionally and calmly
- Handle breakdowns, delays, and hours-of-service issues as they arise
- Keep accurate records of loads, times, and driver status
What we're looking for
- Prior dispatch or logistics experience preferred (we'll train the right person)
- Cool head under pressure and strong problem-solving
- Clear communicator with drivers and customers alike
- Comfortable with dispatch/TMS software and basic computer tools
- Available for [shift/on-call requirement]
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
