Shop Foreman – Wood Flooring Production
Location: Georgetown, ON

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman to lead operations in a fast-paced wood flooring and lumber production environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of leading a team while maintaining high production and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop operations and production workflow
- Coordinate and support production staff in woodworking and finishing processes
- Set up and operate woodworking machinery
- Oversee wood flooring production and finishing operations
- Troubleshoot production and equipment issues efficiently
- Ensure quality control standards are consistently maintained
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with production scheduling and workflow management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or industrial production environments
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with shop machinery and equipment
- Experience setting up and operating woodworking machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to accurately use and read a measuring tape and caliper
- Experience using power tools
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification considered a strong asset
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Positive attitude
