We are seeking Line Painting Technicians (LTs) for our Saskatchewan crew.
As the Line Painting Technicians (LTs), you will perform a wide variety of projects for various clients across the province. This is a seasonal position, that begins mid-April and continues through October. Working hours are 35-55 hours per week with some weekends and overtime work required. This is an overnight position available, that does require switching from nights to days . This is a great opportunity for University students to gain tangible work experience and seasoned labourers to gain valuable skillsets. For those who are on-time, and work great as a part of a team, year round work is available!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Use equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crack-filling and sealcoating, power washing, asphalt repair and more
- Master the art of operating a line striper
- Plan and facilitate the production of a high-quality project
- Communicate job status daily with the Operations Manager
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free job site
- Additional tasks as required
WHAT YOU BRING
· A Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record (Driver’s Abstract is required) and a reliable mode of transportation
· You are self-motivated, critical thinker that likes to problem solve
· You understand the importance of punctuality, organization and attention to detail
· Ability to work in a physically demanding role with lots of walking, bending and lifting (up to 75lbs)
· Ability to work well independently unsupervised
· Past experience with small engines (like lawnmowers) and/or paint sprayers is an asset
· An Engineering educational background is an asset
