Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support team operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
- Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing special requests or concerns promptly
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service periods
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food handling, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus
- Upselling skills to promote menu items effectively and enhance guest satisfaction
