Busy two bay, automotive shop near Sexsmith AB, Canada, Looking to hire a journeyman/woman technician to work with us full time. Wages negotiable based on experience.
Must be willing and capable of performing a range of diagnostic work, engine and timing related work, electrical, and diesel experience is an asset.
We offer mechanical services and tires, and have expanded to the point where we need an another good, reliable mechanic to assist with the jobs coming in.
Full time hours: 40 per week, Full employer matched health & dental benefits available after 3 months. Preference will be given to someone living in or near Sexsmith.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues using mechanical knowledge and hand tools.
- Mentor junior team members
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Utilize power tools and equipment for repairs and installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance efficiency and workflow in the shop.
- Lift heavy components as necessary and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Summary
As a Journeyman Automotive Mechanic, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with automotive repair, power tools, and heavy lifting. Your core skills will be complemented by premium abilities in welding and dealership experience, enhancing your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, your customer service and schematic understanding will contribute to providing excellent service to our clients, making you a vital part of our automotive team.

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
