Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Workers to provide exceptional in-home care and support to clients with diverse needs. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence within their homes and communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, caregiving, and long-term support, with a focus on enhancing quality of life for those in need.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Helping with mobility, safety, and routine activities
- Light meal prep and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment
- Following personalized care plans to ensure safe and consistent service
Qualifications
- Education required Grade 12 or higher.
- Certification in Health Care Aid/ Community Support Worker.
- Must have a car or be able to reliably commute to assigned shift locations.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Able to perform physical tasks such as light lifting and assisting with mobility
- Good communication skills in Punjab/Hindi and English.
- Able to work independently and follow care instructions
