We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond promptly to incidents. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or damage. Prior experience in law enforcement or security-related fields is highly valued, along with familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operations.

Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical or safety situations
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports
- Enforce loss prevention policies by observing customer behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations
- Control access points by verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes as needed
- Conduct security checks on equipment, facilities, and personnel to uphold safety standards
Skills
- Prior experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring systems
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies or high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Physical fitness to patrol large areas and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining vigilance
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
