We’re growing quickly and looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to help streamline our material procurement and logistics operations.
Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end material procurement process for our projects across Canada. You’ll work closely with our regional teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure materials are sourced, shipped, and received on time and at the best possible cost.
This is a hands-on role that combines purchasing, inventory management, supplier relations, and logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with regional operations teams to review Bills of Materials (BOM) for each project.
· Check current inventory and coordinate internal transfers when stock is available.
· Source and purchase materials from approved suppliers when additional inventory is required.
· Create and manage purchase orders for both materials and freight.
· Communicate with suppliers to confirm product readiness and shipment timelines.
· Coordinate with logistics brokers to arrange pick-ups and deliveries.
· Track and confirm material deliveries to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
· Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist in balancing inventory across regions.
· Monitor and manage standard costs of materials within our system.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to negotiate better pricing, terms, and rebate programs.
· Support ongoing efforts to improve procurement processes and reduce supply chain costs.
Qualifications:
· 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or procurement (construction or industrial environment preferred).
· Strong understanding of purchasing, logistics, and inventory management practices.
· Experience working with ERP systems or inventory management tools.
· Excellent communication and organization skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard business tools.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Negotiation and vendor management experience a strong asset.
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Supply chain: 3 years (preferred)
- Inventory & Vendor management: 1 year (preferred)
