Big Hearts Homecare is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide in-home support for our client in Duncan, BC.
Care Required: Homemaking & Personal Care
Scheduled Shift:
- Tuesday and Friday
- 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance while maintaining the client’s dignity, comfort, and independence
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care needs
- Provide homemaking support, including light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment
- Assist with meal preparation and household tasks as required
- Follow the client’s care plan and provide respectful, compassionate support
- Follow care plans meticulously and document care provided as required
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia, hospice, or other chronic conditions
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and infection control procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving, home support, or a related healthcare setting
- Experience with personal care and homemaking duties
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach to client care
- Ability to work independently in a home care environment
- Current First Aid/CPR and relevant caregiving certifications are an asset
