Job Duties
Plan and facilitate the delivery of the Orthodontics for Allied Oral Health Personnel Course including: providing instruction and demonstration of specific orthodontic assisting skills and, facilitating labs, scenario skill practice, small groups and lectures, evaluating students/course and result of teaching process. Engage students in the learning process, mark assignments, monitor student process, provide timely and constructive feedback, manage and review exam submissions as required, finalize official grades.
Check links and content prior to the start of the course, update resources as needed, communicate with students regularly.
Create an outline for the lab days, sourcing and ordering supplies, fabricating stints, pouring and trimming stone models, setting up manikin heads, prepare the room and supplies prior to the start time and cleanup afterwards, teach and demonstrate related skills, provide scenarios and answer student’s questions, complete performance skill testing as required, submit any required paperwork to Continuing Education.
