Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory & Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role is vital in ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, procurement, and transportation management. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, process improvement expertise, and proficiency with ERP systems such as AS400 and warehouse management systems. The Inventory & Logistics Manager will lead efforts in demand planning, freight coordination, order fulfillment, and materials management to support our e-commerce and traditional distribution channels. Duties
- Manage warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order picking, and packaging to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
- Oversee procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and vendor relationships, including 3PL providers and freight carriers.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), and warehouse management systems to coordinate logistics operations.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify process improvements, optimize inventory levels, and reduce costs through effective pricing strategies.
- Implement demand planning procedures to forecast inventory needs accurately for both e-commerce platforms and traditional sales channels.
- Supervise materials management activities, including order fulfillment, procurement, sourcing, and inventory replenishment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on process improvements related to shipping & receiving, order processing, and warehouse operations.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling equipment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, order cycle times, freight costs, and warehouse productivity.
- Lead initiatives in process improvement projects utilizing tools such as CMMS for maintenance scheduling or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, supply chain management, or logistics roles with a focus on process improvement.
- Strong familiarity with ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms; experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, freight management (including 3PL), and demand planning.
- Proficiency in data analysis skills for reporting and decision-making purposes.
- Hands-on experience with transportation management systems (TMS), shipping & receiving procedures, and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to operate or oversee the use of forklift equipment; warehouse experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating across departments and external vendors.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as AS400 or equivalent; familiarity with e-commerce logistics is a plus.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
