Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Line Cook/Supervisor to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality food, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional food service standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with the ability to lead and motivate team members in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high performance
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with meal preparation during busy periods to meet customer demand
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Serve customers directly when needed, providing excellent food service experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, serving, and kitchen organization
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in restaurant operations
- Exceptional communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays if required

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
