Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Take customer orders efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Assist in food preparation and food safety practices to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food handling surfaces and equipment.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure the workspace is organized and inviting.
- Follow food safety regulations and procedures to ensure safe food handling practices.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to serve diverse customers efficiently.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, cashiering, and basic math skills are advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is desirable.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Pay: From $17.60 per hour
