The Role – Line Cook
Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, the Line Cook is responsible for preparation, cooking and packaging of all eat in and take out meals. This role will ensure that the kitchen is prepared for morning and lunch service and bill times are met throughout service.
The Duties and Responsibilities
· Preparing ingredients off the TurF Menu to order.
· Cooking and assisting other line cooks in a fast-paced environment.
· Following food health and safety procedures and working in a clean, organized manner.
· Setting up and stocking stations.
· Opening and closing the line.
· Managing hot and cold food stations.
· Ensuring care is taken for all ingredients and proper food handling techniques are used.
· Ensuring correct storing, cleaning and usage of all kitchen equipment and facility.
Who You Are
● Has minimum 2 years of experience in a fast paced environment
● Responsible for working during peak hours, which may include mornings, and weekends.
● Has strong principals in regard to proper cooking techniques, and an eye for detail.
● Keen understanding of nutrition, and healthy living.
● Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Salary: Starting at $19

Experience:
● Culinary: 2 year (required)
● cooking: 2 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
● Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
