The Site Operations Associate is a hands-on, cross-functional generalist responsible for supporting all aspects of site operations across the property. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards for facilities, grounds, tenant spaces, event venues, and public areas, ensuring a positive experience for guests, tenants, employees, and the broader community.
Daily responsibilities shift based on weather conditions, seasonal demands, scheduled events, and operational priorities. Associates are expected to adapt quickly and support a wide range of operational needs across the site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Grounds & Beautification
- Beautification, upkeep, and general maintenance of the 70+ acre property
- Maintenance and care of two publicly accessible gardens
- Grounds maintenance including planting, weeding, grass cutting, weed eating, gravel spreading, pathway clearing, and snow removal
- Watering and transport of water to support gardens and landscaped areas during the growing season
Facilities & Cleaning
- General maintenance and cleaning of 40+ buildings across the site
- Cleaning of public spaces, washrooms, offices, meeting rooms, and event venues
- Garbage, recycling, and compost removal and maintenance
- Identifying hazards and supporting strong health and safety standards across the site
- Wearing and properly using required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and direction from Site Operations leadership
Event & Tenant Support
- Event-related support including pre-event setup and post-event teardown/reset, including cleaning and waste removal
- Periodic event cleaning support during high-capacity or sold-out events in the Drill Hall, as required
- Servicing the operational needs of commercial tenants, including space readiness, basic troubleshooting, and coordination with Site Operations leadership
- Responding professionally to guest and tenant inquiries and providing directions or assistance as needed
Reactive & Seasonal Work
- Responding to reactive and unplanned operational needs such as spills, weather-related tasks, urgent maintenance issues, and site resets
- Supporting seasonal transitions, including snow removal and high-volume summer operations
- Other duties as assigned to support safe and effective site operations
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
