Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves supporting daily kitchen operations, preparing meals, and ensuring a high standard of food safety and quality. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support kitchen staff with food handling, plating, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies following food safety guidelines
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure customer safety
- Help with stocking supplies and rotating stock items as needed
- Support serving staff during busy periods by preparing orders for delivery or pickup
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in cooking, meal preparation, or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
- Familiarity with restaurant operations or the food industry is a plus
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation
