SUPERSTOP (a division of FGI) is a leader in the remanufacturing of brake shoes and air disc brake calipers for commercial trucks, trailers, and transit/coach applications. We are located at 160 Oakland Road (immediately south of the Perimeter Highway).
Our SUPERSTOP location in OAK BLUFF has an exciting opportunity for a PRODUCTION WORKER to join our team!
What You Will Do:
Operate machinery such as grinders, deliners, washers, riveters, paint machines and packaging in the remanufacturing process
Perform tasks involving sorting shoe cores, painting, washing, delining, riveting, and grinding.
Conduct daily inspection of equipment and report subpar equipment conditions and any mechanical/production concerns to ensure safety standards are met
Safely maintain required productivity levels and proper machinery usage
Maintain the required quality of work throughout and follow the process to the result of packaging for retail sale.

What We Require:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not required
Hands-on experience and knowledge of measuring tools, hand tools, and basic math
Must be comfortable working in a dusty and noisy environment
Must be able to meet the physical requirements, including frequent standing and walking inside the manufacturing facility, comfortably lift and push loads regularly, perform repetitive tasks, and/or stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, reach with hands and arms
Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal, with the ability to follow supervisory direction effectively
High school diploma or other high school equivalency certificate
Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence
