BERWICK HIME HARDWARE located in the Annapolis Valley, N.S. has an immediate opening for a BUILDING SUPPLIES SALES ASSOCIATE. In this position, you will be part of an experienced Home Hardware sales team primarily responsible for serving our valuable customers.. The ideal candidate would have previous building supply experience with knowledge in construction, plumbing, electrical, as well as hardware. Previous paint sales experience an asset.
- Work as part of a sales team servicing all customer needs.
- Provide excellent friendly customer service within any store department.
- Ability to maintain a positive customer service attitude when dealing with customers, vendors, or associates.
- Report directly to the Operations Manager.
- Produce quotes, material lists and follow up on customer deliveries.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships with existing customers/contractors
- Participate in various training courses as needed.
- Source and order non-stock products
- Create purchase orders and sales slips accurately and on time.
- Be flexible to work our retail sales desk and lend a hand where needed.
