About the Client: We're seeking a caring and dependable PSW to support a client and her husband at their Golden Lake cottage for 1 month. Access to the property requires a short 5–10 minute boat ride (pickup and dropoff provided), and the couple has a small dog, so comfort with both is essential. This is a short-term summer position focused on personal care and light household support to keep the client comfortable and well cared for at home.
Responsibilities:
Provide sponge baths and apply various creams and lotions Assist with hair washing and dressing Provide circulation massage Make beds and perform general tidying Hand-wash personal laundry Wipe down the bathroom as needed Carry out all duties on an as-needed basis with attention to the client's comfort
What We're Looking For:
Experience as a PSW or Nursing Student Comfortable with personal care tasks including bathing and dressing assistance Able to tolerate a small dog in the home Comfortable with a 5–10 minute boat ride to access the property Reliable, warm, and respectful of the client's routines and preferences Flexible and open to adjusting duties as needs arise
Schedule: This is a short-term position running from mid-July to August 12 (July 17/18 start). Care is needed 2 session per week, 3 hours per session, preferably in the morning. Preferred days are Tuesday and Friday, or Monday and Thursday. The client is flexible on arrangements.
