Job Summary
Seeking dedicated, hardworking landscape gardeners to join our team. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and strong work ethic in a team environment. Reliable transportation is a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Weed Eater operation & maintenance, weeding and weed eradication, tree well maintenance, irrigation installation, in the fall and shrub and tree planting
- Skilled with basic construction hand tools and equipment
- Operate and fuel certain horticulture gas powered equipment
- Support skilled tradespeople in various landscaping tasks.
- Perform general maintenance and clean up of work areas.
- Follow safety protocols in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on time
- Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in role is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Irrigation and working within a landscape reclamation setting
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to work in a team member environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
