Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our clinic. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure a positive experience for every client. The Massage Therapist will work in a serene environment dedicated to health and relaxation, utilizing their expertise to help clients achieve their wellness goals.
Hours Available:
Monday 1:45pm - 8:00pm
Fridays: 1:45pm - 8:00pm
Saturdays: 8:30am - 2:45pm
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions or wellness practices.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times, ensuring client privacy and comfort.
- Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to enhance skills and service quality.
Experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client conditions and treatment planning.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for creating a welcoming environment and building client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively discuss treatment options, address client concerns, and provide clear instructions.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required, along with licensure as mandated by state regulations. Pay: $37.50-$80.56 per hour
