Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to manage and optimize our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our network systems, supporting business operations and technological growth. This role involves overseeing network hardware, software, and cloud services, with a focus on maintaining high availability and performance across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPNs, and cloud-based networks such as AWS and Azure
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
- Configure and manage operating systems including Windows, Linux, and other enterprise platforms
- Manage network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats
- Collaborate with development teams to support DevOps practices and integrate automation tools using Python, Java, SQL, or similar technologies
- Perform regular updates and patches on network devices and servers to maintain security compliance
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies
- Support disaster recovery planning and backup strategies for critical systems
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware/software solutions aligned with organizational goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in network administration or related IT roles
- Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud services
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools like Python or Java scripting
- Proficiency in managing SQL databases and understanding database integration within networks
- Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or cloud-specific certifications are a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on proactive system management
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
