About the job:
Ontario Drive & Gear (ODG) is seeking highly motivated and skilled CNC Machinists with at least five (5) years of experience operating a variety of CNC machines, particularly in milling and turning applications. The successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties:
The successful incumbents must be able to demonstrate the following essential duties
- Read blueprints, manufacturing drawings and inspection sheets (GD&T; tolerances)
- Able to perform machine set-ups
- Perform Quality checks / Complete first off inspection and in process checks using measuring equipment provided (manual/digital; imperial/metric)
- Able to read and interpret a CMM / Quality reports
- Make tool offsets and part adjustments to meet quality requirement
- Identify nonconforming parts and follow proper reporting procedures
- Able to read CNC programs and perform edits

Educational and Work Experience Requirements:
- OSSD or equivalent
- 5+ years experience operating CNC Machining equipment
