J.D. Barnes Limited is the largest organization of its kind in Canada providing land surveying, bathymetric surveying, underground utility mapping, aerial mapping, land information solutions and integrated online data solutions coast to coast.
J.D. Barnes Limited is currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Title Searcher for our Markham location.
This position is responsible for conducting survey records and Land Registry Office searches, set up and break down of survey project files, set up and maintenance of survey record files and making copies and preparing registry office packaging.
Job Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive online searching using various tools, sites, resources, and software
- Searching in house records and compiling all search information into the field file
- Preparing job files and file maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficiency with computers and general office software is required
- 1 – 2 years of experience using online registry systems and databases
- Land surveying experience is an asset
- Completion of a Title Searching/Conveyancing program is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Self-starter with a professional and positive attitude
- Exceptional attention to detail
Pay: $47,800.00-$60,000.00 per year
