Job Overview
We are seeking 2-3 dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating trucks hauling grain, cattle and/or bales. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over long and short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as tractors/payloaders when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Perform minor repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and mechanical team.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading freight at various sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in driving, preferably with agricultural background.
- For the cattle driver position experience with livestock is an asset.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as loader tractor/payloader.
- Mechanically inclined, (identify problems, fix minor issues if needed).
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy trucks and agricultural equipment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a proactive safety mindset.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients.

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
