Used Car Sales Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Used Car Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive the dealership’s used vehicle sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing the sales pipeline, developing strategic marketing initiatives, and fostering relationships with customers and B2B partners to maximize revenue and growth.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets for used vehicles.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including upselling high-end vehicles and expanding the sales pipeline.
- Manage B2B sales relationships, including negotiations with corporate clients and fleet partners.
- Oversee customer interactions to ensure high-quality service, utilizing excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Support the sales team with training on negotiation techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth within the used car segment.
- Coordinate marketing efforts to promote used vehicle inventory through various channels.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory status.
- Assist in dealership operations related to sales support, including pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales management or dealership experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Extensive knowledge of outside sales techniques, B2B sales, and high-end vehicle sales.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with strong organizational abilities.
- Multilingual capabilities, especially bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages, are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a robust sales pipeline and execute upselling strategies effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and professional phone etiquette.
- Strong marketing acumen with an understanding of retail sales dynamics.
- Ability to analyze math-related data for pricing, profit margins, and inventory management.
- Leadership qualities with experience in sales management or team supervision.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $61,975.23-$180,339.98 per year
