Champion Pressure Cleaning Services located at #115 - 8331 Eastlake Dr, Burnaby, BC V5A 4W2 is recruiting one (1) Rope Access Technician to perform cleaning of both interior and exterior windows for commercial and strata. The salary is $38.40 per hour and working an average of 40 hours per week. This is a full-time, year-round position. Benefits include extended health, dental, vision, life insurance and on-site parking. Our ideal candidates must a minimum of Level 1 Rope Access Technician (RAT) certification from SPRAT or IRATA.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Rope access to hard-to-reach areas without scaffolding or a work platform
- Descend, ascend and transverse ropes for access and work while suspended by harness
- Pressure washing, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and dryer vent cleaning on the ground and from ladders or lifts.
- Carrying out snow removal duties in the winter.
- Communicating respectfully and effectively with co-workers, customers, and building managers.
- Completing paperwork at the beginning of each job.
- Inspecting and maintaining personal gear.
- Ensuring that the work area is always neat and tidy
- Ensuring the use of control zones.
- Participating in operations and safety meetings.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have a minimum 1-year experience in window cleaning, pressure washing, and work at height experience.
- Level 1 RAT certification from IRATA or SPRAT is required.
- Must have strong communications skills, a positive attitude and a customer-oriented approach.
- Able to work at heights of 40 feet or more.
- Able to work in a high-volume, high-paced environment
- Able to follow safety standards and procedures
