Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry, customer service, and working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service, ensuring food safety standards, and supporting daily restaurant operations. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer transactions efficiently while providing friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food handling, serving customers, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and coordinate with team members to optimize workflow
- Uphold proper food safety practices and sanitation procedures at all times
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or cashiering is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with upselling menu items to increase sales is beneficial
