Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass, Window & Door Installer to join our installers team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass, windows, and doors across various residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure precise installation. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance building functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Duties
- Measure and cut glass, windows, and doors to specified dimensions using hand tools and power equipment
- Install new windows, doors, glass panels, and related fixtures in accordance with project specifications
- Remove old or damaged glass and fixtures safely and efficiently
- Apply caulking and sealing materials to ensure weatherproofing and insulation integrity
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine proper installation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
- Perform restoration work on existing installations as needed
- Utilize carpentry skills for framing adjustments or modifications prior to installation
- Assist with construction painting, plumbing, or welding tasks if required for specific projects
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related fields such as carpentry, restoration, or general contracting
- Familiarity with hand tools, caulking techniques, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
- Knowledge of flooring installation, tile laying, or construction painting is a plus
- Ability to work with various materials including glass, wood, metal, and composite products
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and glass handling
- Prior experience with schematics reading and technical drawings preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
