Pay: $25.00/hour
Location: Stouffville, ON (or nearby) – In-person only
Schedule: 2x/week, Mondays and Fridays, within the 4:00-6:00 PM window (1 hour per session)
About the Role
We're looking for a patient, experienced tutor to work one-on-one with a young student (age 5-6) on foundational Math and English skills. This is an in-person position based in Stouffville or the surrounding area.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate Math and English lessons tailored to a young learner
- Adapt teaching strategies to suit the student's individual pace and needs
- Maintain a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on progress
Requirements
- Experience or knowledge working with children who have ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and discalculia is required
- Patient, understanding, and adaptable teaching style
- Experience with ASD is a strong asset
- Reliable transportation to Stouffville or willingness to work in the area
- Available Mondays and Fridays
- Background in early childhood education, tutoring, or related experience preferred
