Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Instructor – PG Diploma in Cybersecurity to join our team at Kikkawa College | ICT Schools in Toronto. In this role, you will deliver hands-on training to aspiring cybersecurity professionals, preparing them for industry certifications and real-world cyber threats. This is an evening teaching position, with classes running from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Duties
- Deliver engaging lessons on network security, threat detection, cryptography, cloud security, and risk management.
- Teach modules including CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Network+, CCNA Security, AWS Security, Azure Security, CCSP, and CISSP.
- Prepare students for third-party certification exams through hands-on labs and practical assessments.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
- Mentor students on job search strategies, resume building, and interview preparation.
- Maintain a positive and interactive learning environment.
Requirements
- Valid industry certification in at least one: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, AWS Security, CCSP, or CISSP – mandatory.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or cloud security.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, threat detection, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Teaching or mentoring experience is preferred but not required.
- Passion for guiding students toward successful cybersecurity careers.
