Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Automotive Technician to join our reputable dealership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Duties
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts accurately
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed for repairs or modifications
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure precise repairs
- Assist with vehicle assembly and component installation when required
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed for each vehicle
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering questions professionally
Qualifications
- Valid automotive technician license or certification required
- Proven dealership experience preferred; strong mechanical knowledge essential
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics across various vehicle systems
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely (up to 50 pounds) and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
- Strong understanding of vehicle assembly processes and mechanical principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Prior experience with vehicle schematics and electrical systems is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
