Rotation: 14/14
Shift: 12 Hour shifts
Wage: $54.00 - $68.00/HR
Potential Renumeration: KPI / Retention Bonus – Referral Bonus

About the Role:
As a Scoop Operator (including remote module) with Dumas, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of remote-controlled scoop trams in an underground mining environment. This role plays a critical part in mucking, hauling, and maintaining production targets while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate scoop trams (remote-controlled also) to move blasted rock from the face to designated areas.

Ensure compliance with Dumas and site-specific safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment, reporting all issues promptly.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.

Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 2 years experience operating scoop trams (manual or remote) in an underground mining environment.

Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.

Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.

Ability to work in physically demanding and confined environments.
