Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and organized Ecommerce Order Fulfillment Associate to support the day-to-day processing and fulfillment of online customer orders.
This role is responsible for accurately picking, packing, preparing, and shipping ecommerce orders in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is someone who can work efficiently, follow clear processes, stay organized, and maintain accuracy while handling multiple orders and tasks throughout the day.
This position is well suited for someone who is dependable, comfortable working independently, and takes pride in ensuring customers receive the correct products in good condition and on time.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare ecommerce orders accurately and efficiently.
- Review order details to ensure the correct products, quantities, and shipping information are included.
- Package orders neatly and securely to prevent damage during shipping.
- Print shipping labels, packing slips, and other required order documents.
- Prepare outgoing shipments using shipping platforms, carrier systems, or ecommerce order management tools.
- Monitor ecommerce order queues and help ensure orders are processed within required timelines.
- Organize and maintain packing materials, shipping supplies, and fulfillment work areas.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock checks, product organization, and restocking as needed.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, missing items, or order issues.
- Communicate with team members regarding order status, fulfillment delays, backorders, or customer-related issues.
- Follow company procedures for order accuracy, packing standards, shipping methods, and product handling.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse or fulfillment area.
- Support returns, exchanges, or customer order adjustments as required.
- Assist with other warehouse, inventory, or operational tasks as needed.

- Ability to lift boxes or inventory as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in ecommerce order fulfillment, warehouse operations, shipping, inventory, retail, or logistics.
- Experience using ecommerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, or similar systems.
- Experience using shipping platforms or carrier systems such as Canada Post, FedEx, UPS, Purolator, ShipStation, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or barcode scanning tools.
- Experience working with small products, craft supplies, sewing products, textiles, thread, or other SKU-heavy inventory is an asset.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment during promotions, sales periods, or seasonal order increases.
