About the Role
You keep the kitchen running clean and tight. From morning pastries to afternoon plates, you prep and execute food that holds up to BYND standards — fresh, precise, and never an afterthought. You understand safety, timing, and the quiet discipline that makes a kitchen great.
Responsibilities
- Prep and execute food across all dayparts: morning pastries, lunch plates, and evening dishes
- Maintain BYND's standards for freshness, precision, and presentation
- Follow food safety protocols and proper storage procedures at all times
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently
- Support the kitchen team through high-volume service periods with calm and consistency
- Communicate clearly with front-of-house and kitchen leadership
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment
- A strong understanding of food safety and handling practices
- A detail-oriented mindset and ability to execute consistently under pressure
- Ability to work across both morning and evening shifts
- A team player who takes pride in craft and quality
- Someone who understands that food is never an afterthought
