Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Staff / Prep person to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for dishes
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and kitchen procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle food safely and adhere to all food safety regulations and standards
- Serve food to customers or assist in serving areas as needed
- Support meal assembly and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow proper food handling protocols to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as required
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures is desirable
- Experience in the food industry or related roles will be considered a strong asset
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards customer service are essential

Pay: $17.60-$24.01 per hour
