We are looking for someone to join our team full time, which consists of weekends (Saturday and Sunday) also.
This role will be a mix of an optometric assistant, receptionist and sales associate, thus cross trained to assist in all practice responsibilities.
*** Optometry office or Optical experience is a must ***
Some job duties would consist of:
- Act as the welcoming agent for the office through effective telephone presentation, live greeting and online communication, along with booking appointments.
- Billing third party insurance companies, checking OHIP eligibility and taking payment
- Responsible for performing various testing on patients, such as pre-testing and visual fields and OCT
- Assist in the dispensary area for frame selection, lens design, measurements, as well as adjustments and repairs.
