Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscaping Crew Lead to help lead our landscaping team. We provide landscaping and grounds maintenance of both residential and commercial properties, as well as other small landscaping jobs.
This leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, leading staff and ensuring quality work.
This is a full-time year round position with a change to snow removal in the winter.
Duties
Summer Landscape Maintenance
- Lead and supervise a team of landscaping crew members during daily operations
- Operate small equipment including mowing, trimming, backpack blowing, pruning, weeding and other general site maintenance
- Drive company truck and trailer
Winter Snow Removal
- operate small equipment including backpack blower, snow blower, sweeper and shovel
- Working in various weather conditions as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and operation of small equipment
- Supervising or leadership experience in landscaping required
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment or materials as needed
- Reliable transportation (your own vehicle), and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving a truck and trailer
This position is typically Monday - Friday, but flexibility is required as rain days may require some weekend work, as required.
Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
