With 25 years in the industry, Cooper Electrical Contracting Ltd. is a well-established electrical contractor serving the Greater Vancouver Area and Fraser Valley. We specialize in retail and office construction, tenant improvements, building maintenance, and select residential work.
We are currently hiring a Journeyman Electrician and an Electrical Apprentice Service Tech to join our team.
What You’ll Do
- Commercial and tenant improvement electrical work
- Reading drawings and layouts
- Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Working safely and efficiently on active construction sites
What We’re Looking For
- Strong working knowledge of the BC Electrical Code
- Certified Journeyman Electrician (or equivalent certification)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical construction drawings
- Apprentice candidates must be registered (Level 1 or 2) with a minimum of 1,000 hours of on-site electrical experience and demonstrate a solid understanding of code fundamentals.
Other Requirements
- Must currently reside in the Greater Vancouver / Fraser Valley
- Our office and shop are located in Port Kells, south of the Golden Ears Bridge
