AZ/DZ Dump Truck Driver
We are hiring an experienced AZ/DZ Dump Truck Driver to join our growing excavating company. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in construction and excavation environments.
Job Summary
The AZ/DZ Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting aggregate, soil, gravel, fill, and other materials to and from excavation and construction job sites. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of safe truck operation, understands the pace of site work, and works well with crews in the field.
Responsibilities
Safely operate AZ/DZ dump trucks to transport materials between sites
Haul soil, gravel, stone, fill, and other excavation-related materials
Perform daily circle checks and report mechanical issues promptly
Ensure loads are secured and transported in compliance with safety standards
Work closely with site supervisors, equipment operators, and crew members
Assist with site-related duties when required
Maintain accurate delivery and inspection records
Follow all company safety policies and Ministry of Transportation regulations
Requirements
Valid AZ or DZ driver’s licence
Minimum 5 years of dump truck or commercial driving experience
Experience working with an excavating, construction, or aggregate company
Strong understanding of job site safety and truck operation standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a field crew
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Asset Qualifications
Float experience is an asset, but not required
Experience hauling equipment or heavy materials is considered an asset
