We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to oversee multiple home retrofitting and renovation projects in our Home Services Division. This role is responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
This position requires strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage several concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Manage multiple small to mid-size retrofit/renovation projects simultaneously
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and timelines
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks or delays
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, agencies and internal teams
- Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and issues
- Manage expectations and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner
Documentation & Organization
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation (contracts, scopes, budgets, reports)
- Track project milestones, changes, and approvals
- Ensure all documentation is organized, accessible, and audit-ready
Operations & Execution
- Coordinate trades, vendors, and suppliers
- Schedule and manage site visits and project activities
- Ensure work meets quality standards, building codes, and safety requirements
- Support procurement of materials and services
Budget & Cost Control
- Develop and track project budgets
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage change orders and approvals
Problem Solving
- Identify and resolve issues quickly (e.g., delays, contractor conflicts, scope changes)
- Adjust plans as needed to keep projects on track
Qualifications
Experience
- 3–5+ years of project management experience (construction, home renovation, or retrofitting preferred)
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
- Experience in home retrofits, renovations, or similar environments
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Qualifications & Experience
Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Procore – asset)
- Understanding of:
- Building codes, permits, or retrofit processes (asset)
- PMP or similar certification – considered an asset
- Experience with energy efficiency or retrofit programs
- Field/site experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
