Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment to support our culinary operations. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by kitchen staff
- Support the food service team by maintaining a clean work environment during busy hours
- Help with food prep activities such as ingredient setup and portioning under supervision
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or food industry is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of kitchen tools and equipment is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings or weekends if needed
- Basic understanding of cooking, meal preparation, or serving is advantageous but not mandatory
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks in a busy kitchen setting
Pay: $16.60 per hour
