We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support the overall management of the restaurant, ensuring smooth operations, outstanding customer service, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize daily processes, and uphold our commitment to excellence in hospitality and food quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff supervision
- Lead staff training and development to ensure high standards of food preparation, service, and safety
- Ensure accurate cash handling and financial transactions while maintaining accountability
- Supervise customer service efforts to deliver memorable dining experiences across casual dining, fine dining, catering, and banquet settings
- Support hiring processes through interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Uphold health & safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in a quick service casual dining restaurant or hospitality environment
- Hands-on experience with POS systems like Toast POS or Micros POS is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and managing staff training programs
- Background in restaurant management with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage inventory efficiently
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of budgeting, food industry standards, and kitchen management practices
