THE OPPORTUNITY AWAITS YOU
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you are responsible for assisting in the preparation, implementation and maintenance of PTI’s Quality Management System, in accordance with the latest version of ISO 9001, through product inspections, documentation, generating NCRs and analysis and continuous improvement activities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage and control documents and records.
- Generate and analyze non-conformance reports.
- Perform product inspections (incoming, in-process, outgoing).
- Participate and perform process and quality audits.
- Develop and implement improvement plans.
- Ensure all quality management system processes and documentation are established, implemented and maintained.
- Performing other duties as allocated.
WHAT IT TAKES

- 2-year diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or formal education combined with training and/or work experience in a related field.
- 2-4 years working experience in manufacturing industry, quality assurance/control and/or ISO 9001 environment.
- Knowledge in electrical/electromagnetics theory, transformer standards, ISO 9001 standards, quality tools are an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in completing auditing and/or inspections.
- Proven competency in the operation of key office software and tools such as MS Office Suite.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills that can adapt to change and make decisions.
- Ability to work at sustained pace and produce quality work.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
