Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
- Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering personalized recommendations.
- Upsell retail products to clients based on their individual nail care needs.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and products sold.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide clients with the best service possible.
Requirements
- Valid Nail Technician license as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience of about 2 years in nail care, eyelashes and body waxing is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations in the beauty industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Canadian work experience would be preferred.
