Quality Tree Services (QTS) has been providing arborist expertise and service to municipal, utility, residential and commercial customers since 2002. We're looking for an experienced leader who wants the opportunity to make an impact—not just manage another crew.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with senior management to lead field operations, mentor crews, improve how we work, and help us continue to grow. What you'll do:
- Lead day-to-day field operations.
- Schedule crews, equipment and resources.
- Coach and develop arborists and apprentices.
- Ensure safe, productive job sites.
- Support residential tree care and utility vegetation management operations.
- Build relationships with customers and utility partners.
- Improve operating procedures and efficiencies.
- Participate in hiring, training and performance management.
- Provide field support when required.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has significant experience with utility vegetation management including operating boom/ aerial lift, hydro line clearing or similar
- Is experienced working around electrical distribution systems
- Has experience operating dump trucks, wood chippers and chainsaws
- Leads by example and enjoys being in the field
- Is highly organized and can balance people, schedules and customer expectations
- Is committed to safety and operational excellence
- Brings a positive, solutions-focused approach
Requirements:
- ISA Certified Arborist
- Utility Arborist certification
- Climbing Experience that includes removals and pruning
- Valid Working at Heights training
- G class driver's license w/ clean abstract - DZ license preferred
