Minke Contracting, the build arm of Saint John modular home builder Acadia York Homes, is hiring a Red Seal Lead Plumber .— factory pre-plumbing, on-site rough-in, service tie-ins, and finish — and to mentor our apprentices as we grow. A portion of the role also involves plumbing service and maintenance across our company-owned properties.
What you'll do:
- Lead rough-in, tie-ins, and finish across our modular residential builds
- Pre-plumb units in the factory and connect them on site after set
- Pull permits, coordinate inspections, and keep every job to code
- Service and maintain plumbing across our company-owned properties
- Mentor apprentices and develop workers toward Red Seal certification
What you need:
- Red Seal endorsement and a valid NB Certificate of Qualification as a Plumber
- Residential experience (new-construction or modular a plus)
- Able to read plans and work to the National / NB Plumbing Code
- Valid NB driver's licence and reliable transportation
