Duties
- Follows the QES (Quality, Environmental, Safety) standards and abide by company HR procedures and programs.
- Is committed to cleanliness, organizational, preventive maintenance, and proper use of assigned equipment & tools including selecting and attaching the correct spray nozzle to create the desired spray pattern, spraying products using industry techniques, cleaning nozzles, and other spraying equipment after each spray job, and inspecting and assessing spray coatings after the paint has dried.
- Understands and works by production paperwork / and some data entry.
- Actively works to ensure and or prevent potential quality problems.
- Demonstrates knowledge of assigned work equipment and operates it with efficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to read and pull raw material based on work orders from the warehouse accurately and efficiently.
- Able to take raw material and operate a shaker table to get the fasteners racked and prepped for painting.
- Follow the information as outlined on the work orders to obtain zero errors.
Qualifications:
- Must wear PPE and is always compliant with ministry requirement requests.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working as a spray painter (minimum 3 years)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to see subtle color differences.
- Experience with breathing masks and protective clothing.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift repeatedly up to 40lbs at a time through-out scheduled shift.
- Must have a reliable vehicle to get to work as this location is not transit accessible.
Compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, and may also be influenced by internal equity and market conditions.
