Black Gold Import Auto Parts is looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a shipping receiver lead.
Join the Black Gold Import Auto Parts team as a Shipping Receiver and play a crucial role in transforming our fast-paced, high-end automotive wrecking and e-commerce business. Our focus is on luxury vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, McLaren, Lamborghinis and more, and we are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to take our shipping department to the next level.
You will play a crucial role in securing cost-effective shipping options by negotiating favorable freight and bulk rates with shipping representatives and companies as we expand, securing cost-effective shipping options, and your ability to manage workflow and lead support staff will be critical to the success of the department.
We offer a competitive starting salary of $22-28 per hour for the right candidate and a supportive work environment. We are looking for a dedicated team player who is comfortable in a high-volume environment and who has the drive and initiative to help us achieve our goal of a completely transformed shipping department.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the revamping and improvement of our shipping department
- Utilizing computer skills to keep up with the demands of e-commerce and online platforms
- Efficiently managing the workflow of shipments
- Preparing customs paperwork
- Shipping items of various sizes, including creating crates as needed
- Negotiating the best rates with shipping companies
- Improving and expanding our current shipping systems
- Ensuring the safe and secure delivery of all items
- Working with a great support staff to manage the high volume
- Previous experience with Ship Station, Complete Shipping Solutions and the eBay platform will be considered assets.
